This journal is to both help me with my final write up as well as offer an extra element to the production with an account of everything that has been done and when it was done.
Thursday 17th June
Contacted a few bands regarding some free recording time and whittled it down to 2 who are interested. One is an orchestral metal band with a fantastic singer and the other is a laid back solo acoustic pop type.
They are both on completely different wave lengths and both at a level that i think makes them unique and talented.
Both acts have a little studio experience, which is useful, and both acts really need a little guidance when it comes to laying their ideas to tape.
I will work as both their producer and engineer and hopefully offer some creative guidance from previous experience to get a great piece for all parties involved.
